"A Man Who Defies the World of BL," the popular BL comedy webcomic on social media, with the latest volume now on sale from Shinchosha. This hot-selling comic is about the main character, Mob, vividly dodging situations set by good-looking guys that are likely to develop into BL romance.
This time, Volume 4 or the comic (released in August 2023) will be adapted into a live-action drama! NTT Docomo Studio & Live will produce a streaming drama titled "A Man Who Defies the World of BL 2024" full of pure love and comedy. The love foreshadowing in this latest work is a little, no, quite strong! Will Mob be able to avoid the development of BL romance?
The main character, Mob, will be played by Atsuhiro Inukai, who won the grand prix at the 25th JUNON SUPERBOY CONTEST, gained popularity in "Kamen Rider Build" and the movie "GRAND BLUE" in which he played the lead role, and has been extremely successful, appearing in dramas such as "Kei x Yaku - Dangerous Buddy" and as a regular on the variety show "Poka Poka"! The characters surrounding Mob include Yutaro ("Kaguya-sama: Love is War," "Naked Dining ~ Love, Life and Liberation~," "I Will Do It in the Next Life") as Mob's younger brother Ayato, Asahi Ito ("Honest Real Estate,"Kaitou Sentai Lupine Ranger VS Police Squadron Patranger") currently attracting great attention for his role in the TBS drama "Worst to First: A Teen Baseball Miracle," plays Kikuchi, a college student who falls in love with Mob, Akihisa Shiono ("The Tale of Genji,"Noisy Dinner," "HiGH&LOW THE WORST"), who became the topic with his first appearance in the Taiga drama, will play Ayato's lover.
