Takashi Hosokawa has been selected as the main judge for "Mr. Trot Japan," an audition program to discover the next generation of talented male vocalists.

"Mr. Trot Japan" is the Japanese version of the survival audition program "Mr. Trot," which gained massive popularity in Korea with a peak audience rating of 35.7%. The show's main MC will be Terumoto Goto (Football Hour), and the judges will include Takashi Hosokawa and music producer Satoshi Takebe.
And Takashi Hosokawa has been selected as the main judge for the program.

"Mr. Trot Japan" discovers the next generation of talented male vocalists who can infuse new breath into oldies loved by all generations. The winner will receive a prize of 10 million yen and a major debut, and there will be a Japan-Korea collaboration with the contestants of "Mr. Trot" produced by TV Chosun.
The application period will be until Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
