This event was proposed by actor Kaga Seiichi, who is a radio personality on FM Kyoto, with the theme of "Connecting ~Beyond Generations~", and Kaga, who has been holding various events in Kyoto for many years, aims to create future energy by connecting Kyoto's traditions with new generations and revitalize the local community. This idea was supported by Heian Shrine, the venue, and many artists, and it was realized in the form of co-hosting with NTT Docomo Studio & Live.
On Saturday, May 18th, there will be performances by majiko, a talented female singer-songwriter from the internet scene who captivates listeners with her natural singing voice, Harucha, whose YouTube channel has 1.29 million subscribers and a total of over 240 million views, and KOKONA, a 15-year-old singer-songwriter whose popularity is rapidly increasing on TikTok and other platforms. In addition, there will be a performance by the original creative dance "Kyoen Sodefure!" of the Kyoto Student Festival, as well as featured artists auditioned for the event to be held at Okazaki Park on the same day.
On Sunday, May 19th, four groups will be performing: CHEMISTRY, one of Japan's leading vocal duos who will perform at Heian Shrine for the first time since 2006; Omoinotake, who is currently a hot topic for his theme song for a TV drama; Zakinosuke, who has a unique style that mixes various genres such as R&B, HIP HOP, SOUL, ROCK, and JAZZ; and Kairi Yagi, who has been attracting attention for her cover videos on her YouTube channel.
