[Live Heatseekers] is a new project jointly held by Billboard Live and NTT DOCOMO Studio & Live, and will feature artists who are just about to take the next step from the rapidly rising next breakout song chart "Billboard JAPAN Heatseekers Songs". The first artist to appear is Chou Kyu Mei, a four-member band formed in 2020 and active mainly in Tokyo. The song "I Want to Be Your Lover" from their first full album became a viral hit mainly on TikTok, expanding their listener base not only in Japan but also throughout Asia, and topping the chart five times in total. Chou Kyu Mei is also gaining a reputation as a live band, with their own tour performances selling out one after another. We hope you will look forward to their precious club performance.
The broadcast will be streamed on "Tig LIVE," an interactive video streaming solution that allows for real-time information to be added. Viewing tickets will go on sale from 10:00 on May 3rd.
