From the end of April 2024, Lemino®, a video streaming service, exclusively stream “A Man Who Defies the World of BL 2024,” the live-action drama adaptation of the latest volume of the popular BL comedy webcomic on SNS “A Man Who Defies the World of BL,” which is currently on sale.
The original story of “A Man Who Defies the World of BL” is a popular work filled with gags. It is a story about the main character, Mob, who realizes that he is living in the world of BL manga and spends his days vividly dodging situations that are likely to develop into BL romance. Volume 4 of the manga (out August 2023) is adapted into a drama! Full of pure love and laughter, this series is streamed exclusively on Lemino under the title “A Man Who Defies the World of BL 2024.”
The main character, Mob, will be played by Atsuhiro Inukai, who won the grand prix at the 25th JUNON SUPERBOY CONTEST, gained popularity in "Kamen Rider Build" and other roles, and has been extremely successful, appearing in dramas such as "Kei x Yaku - Dangerous Buddy" and as a regular on the variety show "Poka Poka"! The characters surrounding Mob include Yutaro, who appeared in "Kaguya-sama: Love is War," as his younger brother Ayato, Asahi Ito, currently attracting great attention for his role in the TBS drama "Worst to First: A Teen Baseball Miracle," plays Kikuchi, a college student who falls in love with Mob, Akihisa Shiono, who became the topic with his first appearance in the Taiga drama "The Tale of Genji," will play Ayato's lover, Tojo, BL manga artist and a BL lover Mayama, who is always waiting for BL romance and holds the fate of Mob in his hands!? is played by Hayate Wada who is also an active artist as a member of Da-iCE, The role of "strongest foreshadowing" Hatano, who suddenly appears in front of Mob, will be played by Ryo Sekoguchi, who has garnered support from a wide audience for her role as Stacy in "Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger" and is expanding her field of activity to include stage and film.
